Poppy Appeal

The Royal British Legion provides welfare to the whole Armed Forces family - serving, ex-Service and their dependants. It is the custodian of Remembrance and organises the annual Poppy Appeal and helps not just those who fought in the two World Wars, but also those involved in the many conflicts since and those still fighting today.

As well as providing welfare services, it campaigns on a range of issues affecting Service personnel and raises funds through the annual Poppy Appeal. It is a membership organisation and registered charity.

Poppy Tin

Each year, a large team of volunteers from the Dymchurch British Legion give up their time to collect for this Appeal and, so far this year we have raised £8,350 for the charity.

If you wish to join our enthusiastic team of volunteer collectors, please get in touch using the 'Contact Us' link at the top of the page
